At this time of year it's nice to get out and see what is growing in our local woods:

 

 

Anyone else like taking piccies of shrooms??? :D

@@kittykat23uk ,I loved your slideshow of fabulous fungi! With UK weather you must get quite a show of fungi every year. We don't get nearly enough rain in our area for mushroom displays.

 

However on a trip to Canada in August we had bad luck with wildlife but had a bonanza of mushrooms. With not much wildlife to look at, I spent a lot of time looking for and taking photos of mushrooms...so many and so interesting. I'm hooked! I took quite a few photos with my iPhone and was very pleased at how well they turned out. The others were taken with my little P&S, a Panasonic DMC-ZS20.

 

Thanks for your instructions on how to post a slideshow from flickr...I learned something new today!
