Meru, Samburu, Lake Nakuru, Kenya — October, 2014

Tom Kellie

Recommended Posts

Your sykes is poetry in motion! ^_^

Taking the ceramic boot planter one step further, I have seen actual leather boots as planters.

I would not expect to see colobus in Meru, Samburu, Lake Nakuru. Where was it seen? You don't have to answer the question in rhyme. Unless you really want to.

The fuel level has gone down,

OiLibya meets our need.

Mt Kenya may seem elusive,

Its cloud-shrouded snows not displayed,

Every day, being exclusive,

A glimpse of which one wouldn't trade.

Fabulous Sykes' monkey in flight images, @@Tom Kellie! I am seeing these species for a first time. I'm quite impatient and glad that the journey is moving to the north towards Meru National Park. :)

The Mount Kenya Tree Nursery,

Near Timau, has a sign which is,
Ever so slightly cursory,
Saying it's in the eco-biz.

What a pleasant surprise, a new Tom Kellie report! Really appreciate all the "on the road" shots, recognize a lot of these. The Trout hotel looks very nice. I don't think I've ever seen Colobus on the ground. Love the Sykes especially, they are favourites of mine.

Very sad to hear you're considering shutting down. Very much enjoyed my stay at Murera some two years ago.
