Very black bird, this one. Black enough to confuse me. It should be posted under letter "A"

Thank you so much, fellow birders and photographers, for your kind words! The Black Harrier was really unexpected sight, a lifer for us, and I have to commend Zvezda for her fast reaction. I have to thank also the Harrier as it looks in our general direction with its bright yellow eye, and that moment makes the photo. The Saw-wing is also a lifer (but then, there are so many birds lifers for us newbie birders :) that I don't even point them out).

That Black Harrier is certainly a striking bird and well caught Zvezda.

Really beautiful photos. I love the diversity of bird life in Africa. The Flycatcher photo is my favorite. :)

Not all BIF were as successful as the Black Harrier one, but I will add them anyway; birds do fly ;) - most of them anyway.

A nice growing collection but I think BY034 may well have got out of alphabet order. Should it not begin with a 'K'?

You saw some great birds at De hoop. and two get two flying birds in focus in one shot is quite a trick, and you did it twice!

Love the Coucal.
