Where to start?

Well at one extreme your Neddicky is fairly sound but at the other your cantans must be a traveling minstrel on an exchange visit. Location, location, location.

I have no idea as to the place names you mention but a few of your portraits are of the same bird I think!:(

I have received those more complicated ones (i.e. all but Neddicky :rolleyes:) from a local birder. I agree about the Singing one; however, it would be very useful to me, and others, if we could have your "pick of the names", @Galana.

That's  a big ask.

One would need back & front views to filter out the plain backs from streaked backs for a start.

Then I don't know the habitat (except two seem to like wire cables!:rolleyes:)

Wetlands or Grasslands?

I can let you have my 'secret weapon' if it helps.

"In the absence of divine help it's a Rattler"!

 

With that in mind look at 181, 182 and 187 and compare with 184.

 

As @Peter Connan has just put his finger on it so aptly.:D

Fabulous collection so far! Loved your European Roller as well as the Flycatcher. Plus all those little fast flyers which are some of my favorites.

Through years of experience I have come up with this infallible method of ID-ing Cisticolas: if it's tiny, brown and it sings, wails, rattles, whistles or croaks, it's a Cisticola. If it's tiny, brown and it doesn't, it's also a Cisticola. It may just be Lazy. Never fails me ;)
