I don't think I've even seen that many species, far less photographed them. Amazing achievement.

You certainly have made good progress over the last few years. I admire the confidence shown here.

With 41 new birds, I must say this was a very good birding trip. However, not the birds but being in the company of fellow Safaritalkers is what draws us time and again to this location!

@xelas that's so tempting you know. I'll have to check my calendar for seewinkle in 2021..... and i've never been to Austria.

Great additions, btw!

And I assume also never in Slovenia?! If so, you could visit both countries. Austria for birds and Slovenia for bears :). I know a guy in Ljubljana that would be mighty interested in a "house exchange" with Singapore :D.

Aha, house duties in Singapore include dog and cats sittings. 🤣

no problems with those. In Slovenia, only feeding the neighbour's cats :D. But they only eat Whiskas .

Good to know they are helping support my pension!

Seewinkel looks like a top spot, I must investigate!

No need to investigate too much, Dave. Just ask Michael, he is an expert on that area.

If not in Wales, we might have a birding day at Seewinkel?!

  • 2 months later...

Two months not posting one new bird :o; no wonder other more dedicated birders are passing me left and right. Yet, there was really not much of a birding season here in Slovenia. Following are left-overs from May.

Thanks @Galana. For this moment in our Big Yeasr life, I could paraphrase yours "I'm not dead if I'm still posting."  :D
