Excellent additions from Sri Lanka and I recognise quite a number of species from down here too. 

we would have gone wild for the white morph Sri Lanka paradise flycatcher and the Indian flycatcher.

The weather was relatively good on New Years' day, so we went out for a walk. Although we spotted a few different water fowl, most were far off and hopefully can be improved upon in the next 364 days,
