This is certainly the closest we have ever been to a Malachite Kingfisher. It was sitting on the other side of a narrow pool right at the side of the track and seemed completely un-bothered by us.

"L" of a lot of Ls. Little Sparrowhawk are one of my favourites to see.

Very smart LT Fiscal and Marico too.

Malachite a worthy 450.

@Tdgraves thank you. There were a lot of them in Nairobi National park and they often sat in trees close to the tracks so I am sure you will get good views when you visit next year.
