From my sparse knowledge of RSA Geography coupled with the limitations of drawn distribution maps I would say your location is comfortably in range of Striped Kingfishers.  Thanks for the directions.

On the 26th of May, @BobsCreek and I went to The Aloe Farm, a specialist nursery just outside Hartebeesboort. The following  11 birds resulted:
