Male cheetah - contrasting image from the lovely shot of @@IamFisheye above. Taken in the Sabi Sands, March 2015. Nikon D7100, 70-300mm @ 300mm, f/5.6, 1/200 sec, ISO 100. Exposure adjusted in Lightroom and the converted using Silver Efex pro. I wanted to create a high key effect and this looks acceptable as a 24x16 print on my office wall.

Nice Swazicar - I was in etosha last June - we crossed from the von linguist gate and out at Anderson gate over 6 days - would have liked to have gone to the western section and Dolomite - such a fabulous park - had a great time with some wonderful wildlife encounters!

Cheers

Dusk Leopard

Photographed at 6:38 pm on 28 April, 2014 in Samburu National Reserve, Kenya, using an EOS 1D X camera and an EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II super-telephoto lens.

ISO 800, 1/25 sec., f/4, 400mm focal length, handheld Manual exposure.

****************************************************************************************************

This is an instance where the black and white version brings out a subject which was relatively difficult to fully appreciate in the color version.

I'd never seen a leopard before, therefore @Anthony Gitau went to much trouble to track it, so that I might have photos. This image was made at dusk in low light conditions.
