I was fortunate enough to see a good number of porcupines on night drives in South Luangwa National Park. They are also amusing to watch, and quite beautiful in their own way.

There's much to admire about your Kwando porcupine.

The clarity of resolution of the ear, whiskers and eye is exemplary.

I'm especially interested to see the white blaze under the neck, which was mentioned in a paper I read.

Really appreciate this one!

@kittykat23uk That baby porcupine is so darn CUTE. That widdle tufty tail... so CUUUUUTE!!!!!!!!!!!! :wub:

 

Sadly I've never seen an African porcupine. ...a live one at least.

 

We were a little too late to the party here. Mr Lion arrived first.
