Great trip report. Superb photos. Fantastic series with Alice hunting. So lucky to see that in daylight.

What with honey badgers and porcupines, a very successful last couple of game drives.

Alice in hunting mode is a great finale and definitely serves to answer once again the question posed in your title. While there certainly ARE leopards in South Luangwa, getting such outstanding shots of them like you did is not as common.

 

The guy in the boat is a beautiful photo too. The 3 lion cubs really lined themselves up for you. If that gorgeous civet ended your "poorest drive" I'd like to have all poor drives.
