Thank you @@PeterHG, @@michael-ibk and @@TonyQ.

It is indeed interesting to see how widespread some birds are.

I knew the #100 will be something very special, photographic wise. Congratulations!

Thanks @@xelas.

Actually it was just luck. Just happened to be the next bird photographed.

Going OT now, but my workflow is as follows:

1) Copy all photos from a specific trip or event into a folder on hard drive. Create a folder with identical name on pc.

2) Import photos in folder into LR.

3) Quickly edit a few photos that i had high hopes for (these are the ones i e-mailed to you, @@PCNW and @@Elsa Hoffmann).

4) Keyword according to place and species.

5) looking at bird photos only, i start from the beginning.

6) For The first bird that is not already on my spreadsheet, i will populate my spreadsheet, then filter in LR all photos of that species.

7) Flag a few nice ones with "pick" flag, and all the bad ones with "x".

8) Delete the bad ones and edit the "pick"s.

9) Move on to the next bird.

10) Later i will come back and either edit or delete the rest of the photos.

Thanks for workflow. Mine is similar ... to point #3. #4 stops at keywording the species :( .

11 April, Rondevlei Bird Sanctuary

Rondevlei is an interesting bird sanctuary with a number hides. Unfortunately when we were there they were busy drying it out in order to burn off the excess reeds, and thus the water was very far from the hides.

Also, it is very close to Strandvlei and of very similar habitat, so we didn't see too much that we didn't see at Strandvlei.

Thanks @@Tdgraves and @elefremoz.

Actually, I think when an owl does this it's equivalent to a teenager pulling the blanket over his/her head. It's saying "leave me alone, can't you see I'm sleeping!"

Finally caught up here Peter and I wanted to comment on some shots but there are to many good ones to pick out any one shot, though I really do love the Eagle and Penguin shots in particular. These big year threads have convinced me to try to get some decent shots later this year in Kenya.

At the end of April, we spent a long weekend at a friend's place. He farms Macadamia nuts just outside of Nelspruit. This and the following birds were all photographed there.
