Nice!

I love the little guys, but I would be happy with a bird of prey any day :)

I am really enjoying seeing your local birds - and the photos are lovely.

I think the Big Year has transformed how you spend your leisure time?

And welcome to Tanja

Well, that is a huge understatement, my birding friend!! Big Year has completely transformed my daily routine. I have walked all of the nearby trails that I didn't even know that they exists, in 10 years of living at present location. I have cris-crossed the nature reserve to the point people are becoming suspicious, asking me what I am doing with that long lens near their properties. Me, known to be able to stay in bed till 11:00 each Saturday, am waking up 06:00 (if it does not rain) daily, having my "balcony birding fix" in the early mornings, ... yeah the Big Year definitively transformed how I (and we) spend not only our leisure time. And it has transformed it to the better, and I am deeply thankful to all of you posters that are "adding the fuel" to my "birding engine" :):) .

Great stuff @@xelas. And who knew you had a secret weapon in Tanja?

I know how you feel about the new daily routine. I was doing the same all through the spring here at home. In fact, that's the reason for my delayed trip report.

Keep it coming.

Since there were no objections on Trush I will count the Song Trush as #150. Getting new species is becoming harder as the list progress. Luckily I have still some left from nearby locations.
