Are you sure #130 is a Red-necked Falcon and not a Lanner, Dave? I do miss the barring and the reddish side of the head. I did not see the size, of course, and you obviously did.

@@PeterHG In a word... No! I looked and looked at the various illustrations, checked out some other shots and came to the Red-necked conclusion but now you mention it, it does look very much like a Lanner. a species I have only seen once or twice before. It was sat a long way from me so maybe I have misjudged the size and it was bigger than I realised.If you say it's a Lanner I'm happy with that as it's an extra tick !!! I have a Red-necked complete with the barring across the chest which I can add to my tally!

I have to say this Big Year theme is good because you get to learn from not only what others have seen and put on their thread but your from own shots too. Thanks for pointing it out.
