Love the wet elephants, @madaboutcheetah - especially that first close-up shot of the one with foliage on its tusk! Nothing like eles in water! And the leopard cub is just beautiful! Also, cool shots of the lions hunting warthog.

You’ve a very distinct photo style now, Hari. Both you & Michael - I can tell without knowing whose images are being shown :) Big league now!

Superb photos on the eles, any idea what would have caused the tusks to have turned back in pic #55 or is it just a quirk of nature?

Elephants in the rain ... truly a very special photo! I have noticed a couple of double posts (same photo posted twice). Is there a reason behind? Two different post processing attempts maybe??

Alas, not the best of years for the Wild dogs in the concession with the huge Lion numbers at the moment - The dogs first of all went into denning late this year because one of the alphas were killed by Lions.  Next, a Lion attack at the den wiped out this year's litter of puppies.  We were lucky that the dogs came through from the mopane woodland this particular day .......... Not too active (High temperatures and the full moon Combination) - but, it was awesome to see them!

Murphy's law was to strike! Every guest who came from Kwara spoke about 3 different packs seen and Puppies near camp!

Nice tower of giraffe and I agree with @michael-ibk regarding the wildebeest. Will you be adding Kwara to your trip in future?

@CDL111 - indeed I will.

why Murphy's law I wrote there in the post ...... I had 3 nights Little Kwara in the plan. The cheetah boys were Super active and posing on high logs etc etc., killing lechwe in front of our vehicle (photos to come) that I swapped my LK nights to remain in Lagoon (they had space) .... what happens next? The cheetah disappear just like that..... lesson learnt!

i will definitely be at kwara next time.... simply because it's been a Long time since I was there!

@madaboutcheetah I love all the cheetah photos especially the last one on post #63. There's something iconic about the picture.

I apologize if you have mentioned already but if you would, please share some logistic details of your trip (tour operator, timing, the camps you stayed at and for how long, etc.). Thank you.

Poster, the guide alerted us of Lion tagging buffalo .......... Unfortunately, there wasn't too much going on except buffalo and dust into the setting sun and the Lion laying down ...... Not the resident Lions, but, unknown ones .......
