Truly a good capture. As @xelas suggests, there is a watercolour quality to this.

And that, I'm afraid, is that for my little organised birding tour. But 14 new birds in just over a day, in an area less than 50km from the park I started my year in is probably not bad at all...

I hope you get to 250, but whatever, the journey towards it has contained so many superb photos - giving us a treat each time!

14 new birds in a day is very good, indeed! And lovely shots of the cuckoo.

Thank you very much @Dave Williams, @TonyQ and @PeterHG.

Dave, I am giving it my very best shot. But I might end up scraping my EBC barrel to get there...

Well I can't remember any so far being sufficiently bad to be worthy of entry in to the "EBC of the Year" competition so you could achieve two objectives at once Peter.:)

Beautiful photos of the Korhaan, Peter. I can almost hear its loud, insistent call in the second shot!

Thanks @PeterHG.

I suspect it had a nest close by, as it was doing that to every passing car, which is not what I consider normal behaviour.
