Congratulations for #400, and still going on! Self-driving is a really great way to find many birds, @Tdgraves!

Congratulations on #400,  well done! Interesting to see the avifauna of Marocco, many familiar birds there apparently. Could be wrong but I think that the general consensus treats Chaffinches and Dippers there as only subspecies of our European nominate. African Blue Tit is a good species though.

Thanks all. Never seen a dipper before, so makes no difference to me! Must say, this is the first time I have got into the minutiae, but the chaffinch looks so different to the ones in my garden....

Plenty more to come from Morocco @michael-ibk

We also saw some rock martins, distant cattle egrets. Mohammed claimed to see a hawfinch, but I couldn't spot it :(

And so I end our brief Morocco trip with an EBC. We flushed a pair of these out in the hotel grounds. It was overcast and I was not set up for BIF. I think that this is a sparrowhawk rather than a Northern goshawk (although either would count), but don't have a better angle/shot.

a possible contender for my worst bird photo of the year, but given that I haven't seen one for months, I figure this is likely as good as it will get

Great landscape photos. Really not what one expects to see in Africa.

Maybe, but it gets a prize in the watercolour category :D!
