Before moving on to "Karoo" birds two that have been hiding themselves among them. Both were already posted yet I really like to show you also these two photos.

200+ top quality photos just from the Western Cape. I'm in awe. My guess is that you have broken from your naming convention and saved Knysna Turaco for 200 under "T".

Sorry for that unwilling mistake, @lmSA84 ... only #100 tomorrow ... and no, there were not 200 birds from Western Cape alone ... not that we didn't try hard, though :).

Thank goodness for the Kori Bustard, I was just getting seriously despondent about the quality of my photography... :D

Obviously it was not much of a challenge ... @lmSA84 and @Galana got it right. It would be a Narina Trogon but despite all the efforst by our guide, we have only heard it but not see it. Maybe trogon will be bird #300 (or #400?!). So here it is, the bird that can compete with Resplendent Quetzal in stature, colours, but is much more sociable bird.
