Thanks @Dave Williams i didn’t know about the app, but not sure how i’d put p it use....

battery grip for the 7d was another not very successful Christmas present. I found my hit rate reduced and so it hasn’t been used since....being female, size is not important to me :o

@Tdgraves

Just catching up! You have some beautiful birds and beautiful photos from Sri Lanka - I have really enjoyed seeing them (and comparing the birds to what we have just seen in India). Your boat trip looks wonderful - and you are right the light is excellent - and well used by you.

Cormorants of different size is an intersting picture - we found it very difficult to distinguish Little Cormorant and Indian Cormorant!

The Nuthatch is a lovely bird.

Look forward to further postings.

In a word....No!

However, that's just on the one shot, time and further postings will tell.

The Peafowl are stunning shots. They are difficult to frame too!

All the shots look fine although do I detect more sharpening than you have applied in the past?

Thanks @Dave Williams we try not to process too much, although we have changed to using unsharp mask instead of sharpness in DPP, perhaps it does more? I also think that uploading to ST in the past was doing something to the IQ, so maybe that is it...

Be careful not to overdo it though. I have recently started using DPP for virtually all my processing. Just occasionally send a TIF file over to my Photoshop CS6 ( which won't open Canon RAWs from the two bodies I own) if I want to do more than the basics. I only very recently discovered you can copy and paste all your adjustments in one image to all the others in the same sequence, just like Lightroom. Saves a lot of time!

Beautiful birds, that Brown-Bellied Flycatcher is really cute and the Velvet-Fronted Nuthatch a seriously cool looking dude. And those Painted Storks are just gorgeous, fantastic photo. The repeat shot does look a bit naughty, like she´s lifting her skirt. ;-)

Are you aware that your Flicker shots are revealing your private e address?

You may not care for that.
