Maybe not today after all but I'm coming to get you @xelas :ph34r:

You are! However I am not going to pass you by without a fight. There are 4 days of holidays end of this week; Black Swan are waiting for me, and hopefully some others also.

@Dave Williams your puffback is a boubou

I agree. Tropical Boubou.

@Tdgraves :D

Some good photos there Mr Tortoise. Breathe out a bit and block the overtaking.

@Galana Thanks for the heads up on which one. I missed it as it's not on the distribution map for that part of Kruger...but there again birds can't read!

@xelas Do I detect an EU joint effort to frustrate the UK's efforts to go it alone.;)

Well there is an outside chance it could be Southern Boubou. It depends on how much colour there is on the lower belly. It looked a bit pale to me for Southern but as well as not reading maps they can be beggars for making fashion statements too.

Ahem! Some would say that has been the case since June 2016!

358) Cape Turtle Dove

They are everywhere, particularly in the south of KNP. It took me a week before I got around to photographing one. Sometimes you ignore the obvious until you think there's a worthwhile shot and it can backfire when you get home and realise you didn't get around to taking one at all!

360) White-bellied Sunbird

There was a dearth of Sunbirds but looking through my shots taken at Talamati I found this. I didn't bother too much as the light etc was all wrong. I assumed I'd get another chance on another day but I think this is the best I can do.

The Tortoise is actually leading the Hare...an event as rare as Hen's teeth!

Really? I need to check out this fact. But if so, you well deserve the lead, you are showing us so many excellent photos. Details on Yellow-breasted Apalis are just insane :),

At Talamati, assuming it is one!

And you had one all the time.

True enough. We are left wondering which side of our house they are going to paint the white line for the 'new border'.
