Thanks for your wonderful report. I am 78 and trying to decide if I have one more safari in me (have done 6). After reading your account I believe I can do it. It is amazing the pull that Africa exerts on the heart. I want to visit Botswana (especially the Delta) one more time and you have inspired me.

Thank you so much, mphelps. The timing was amazing. Just a few months later we were in lockdown and could barely leave the house. And here I was with all these very recent memories of Africa to entertain me. 
 

I would encourage you to go. I may try another one myself. If only the journey was easier from California. Go for it!
