I am not surprised that you are impressed by Drakensberg landscapes. It is a place any serious hiker must enjoy!

Always a gentleman, Peter! It feels good; writing a trip report does take time, and since this one was seriously overdue, some details were lost in space (must be a Black Hole is starting to form inside my skull ).

Note to myself: make notes on paper during the trip!

I wonder if the black hole in your skull is connected to the one in mine?

This is one advantage of the single-digit Nikons. Voice notes. Wish they would introduce that on some of the lower models as well...

Entertaining and informative report, and fabulous photography from  Zvezda and you, as always, @xelas. thanks for taking time to put it together. I would have panicked as well when the e-maps aren't working.

Thank you, @Kitsafari! Trying our best, both of us. And will try to improve, some new countries will be visited in 2020.

Just enjoyed a second read of the report Alex. Our trip for last September was cancelled of course but I have rebooked for late May in to June and a different plan to the original so I'm checking out what I might still like to add!!
