@Kitsafari  thank you for the kind words. This owl is Diurnal so had it eyes open all the time, although not looking down very often.

@mvecht, lovely little Dippers, they seem to be popping up on everyone's list, although you won't see them on mine this year :).In fact Ive never had much luck finding them anywhere.  I always enjoy Gannetts, beautiful birds but always too far out to sea here for me.

Today I had a very specific target and I found it:D

#10 Long-eared owl (Asio otus)

I saw 12 but up to 15 have been seen at this site. They are fairly visible and approachable but still not easy to photograph.

Solbjerg Engsoe is a great place for White-tailed eagle. One of my friends had 7 eagles at the same time yesterday.

#16 White-tailed eagle (Haliaetus albicilla)

The female Eagle is actually not trying to hunt the ducks but rather on the way to landing in a nearby tree where the male is waiting. The eagles were quite vocal greeting each other.

@mvecht, do you mind sharing the location, if you prefer not to that's OK. I tend to look keep notes on sightings and locations for my future trip planning, some can head off to cathedrals and museums whilst I go looking for much more interesting things. The White Tailed Eagles are great, we've just had great sightings on Mull in Scotland.Sounds like Denmarks Eagles have a similar troubled history.

@elefromoz  sorry, I forgot to put down the location. They were found in Vaerloese Northwest of Copenhagen.

The White - tailed eagles stopped breeding in Denmark around 1912. In 1995 the first couple started breeding and today 75+ couples.

Please let me know if you make it to Denmark. I will be more than happy to suggest interesting locations and maybe join you there.

@mvecht, thanks, that's very kind of you to offer, never know where our travels may take us. "75+ couples", good going in 20 years, the world needs a good news story occasionally.
