@pedro maia 'onya, on a lightning quick 100, and all local if I recall, well done. Another vote for the Peregrine, I can never get close to these, wherever I see them, and that's not that often I should add.

After going through the gull´s pictures I took last Sunday a very good surprise showed up, a rarity in Europe, on the left hand side of the picture.

Finally found some time to start looking at other BY's and started with yours. All was going well until I saw the Merlin and I nearly fell off my chair. WOW!

It's my No 1 target this year, I know where to find one but it's never there when I go and even if it was I wouldn't get the views you did. Well done on taking full advantage. I would swop 100 of my species for that one!!

Lots of other special birds in there too mind.

The Merlin was definitely the highlight of my BY so far and it will most likely be so until the end of the year, I hope you find yours and do your magic .

I just returned from our SA trip so I still have a lot of catching up to do. Absolutely amazed at your total so early in the year. Lots of beautiful pictures, too, but I have to agree with the others: your Merlin shots are stunning!
