I am certain stuffed birds would be disqualified on the grounds that not all the bird was present at the time of the photograph

Ah, but how would you know as the bits that are missing are on the inside?

Excellent additions, and nice views of North Norfolk - an area we like very much.

I particularly like your Wren photos. Good luck in your garden over the coming months!

Unfortunately, I have already posted most of the species we get as regular visitors.

My challenge is to get an acceptable photo of a Jay. If I manage that I'll be happy. Well, as happy as I can be with my wings clipped.

Since you have totally dropped your standards on both the year taken and the condition of the said species I'll happily donate this one to the cause Martin.

PS I'm pretty certain it's all there too @Galana

From what I heard Boris gave you guys all a free pass? One walk a day, with no time limit?

Well that’s up to translation Peter but most of us won’t take advantage, sadly some will.

Very nice additions - that wader is really interesting, could be a rarity maybe?

Enough for me anyway! Whiteborder and black-banded tail but the big Q is "when"?

Looking at the markings around the eye, I'm now thinking this could be a Whimbrel.

No I think that is a Curlew. Lot of white rear belly and the bill smoothly curved.

Maybe @michael-ibk was referring to your Wood Sandpiper?

Forget the markings, the bill is too long for a Whimbrel. Just my opinion.Oh, Fred was faster. At least this time I did not hit the rock in the dark :D

The wader at #102 is not a Sandpiper, maybe a juvenile Knot?

Yeah, I know, I was clutching at straws. Any tactic to boost the tally. -_-

Great excitement this morning as a bird (two of them actually) I haven't seen for a while came to visit. Just shows how desperate the situation is getting, I took more than 60 shots.

#119 - Chiffchaff - Fringilla coelebs

Suffolk, March 2020

As @Dave Williams said a short while ago, the Chiffchaffs are now in full voice in the garden, a sure sign that Spring is on its way.
