Ton up! I must start reading more TRs and decide on a structure on a future visit to take in KFT and the Cape.

Please feel free to PM me about trip planning - can be done from JNB as well as CPT

All good here thanks @Tdgraves. Are you fully recovered now?

Just about @Peter Connan, I've been back at work for two weeks (in body, mainly) and am still exhausted. If I try and go for a walk to lift body and soul, I pay for it with muscle aches for 2 days still and having 11-12 hours sleep per night is pseudoteenage behaviour (and is not compatible with working)!! The good thing is that I haven't had to do full days, as it is eerily quiet and the threat to cancel all leave for 3 months (we were due to go to Extremadura in a weeks' time) may now be lifted, so I can hopefully get a run of extra sleep to finally recover.

Prior to the lockdown, I went to one of the last swan feeds of the year at Welney. The weather was clear when I left home, but of course, once I had done the tortuous detour around the flooded road, it had really clouded over. Also, most of the swans had not read the memo and had already departed, nevermind....

I can't recall if you ever got it tested?

I get irritated when the govt say the majority get the "mild" illness because from what I've read, those who had the "mild" symptoms were badly ill. to tell people that it's mild underscores the seriousness of getting infected so i wish the governments (including  mine) will stop using mild and say less critical or serious.

great additions and there i was thinking the magpie has just become BFF with the kestrel... :P
