Thank you very much @michael-ibk

At the beginning of the year a friend of mine bought a small property in the Olifants West game reserve, part of the Greater Kruger and close to the Olifants River.

During August, he invited us to visit for a long weekend, an opportunity we gladly availed ourselves of, despite the fact that we were not allowed to travel across provincial at that time.

Anyway, at one point we were chasing down a herd of Elephant with babies when I saw a bird in a tree. I thought it was something quite common, so I didn't spend much time at it and it was only when reviewing the photos later that I noticed that there were not one but two different species, and both were new ones for the year...

So here comes not one but two EBC's in one photo!

Good to see the outing was successful @Peter Connan

Does this mean you have regained your lost files?

Also would you consider it rude if I suggested that the correct name of  Kremetartlaksman is Southern White-crowned Shrike and am I translating the Afrikaans correctly as CreamtartShrike?

I think you have forgotten the standards if you count those as EBCs!

@Galana you are of course correct with the english name.

A better translatation of the afrikaans name would be Baobab Shrike.

I had the photos from three "outings" saved to an external hard drive as my computer did not have enough memory to accomodate them...
