ahhh it's Plover time!

102. Grey Plover, Pulau Ubin

This photo was substantially cropped but this was the closest one to us.

An uncommon visitor, this winter migrant is found in as far as the Arctic islands, Russian coasts, Canada to Alaska.

It is also known as the black-bellied plover.

a group of different plover species has been hanging around the breakwaters along the shore in this area for a few months, and it is always a delight to see them around.

108. Oriental Reed Warbler, Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park

We were looking for the black-browed reed warbler but this tiny fellow was busy preening itself on the reed - a surprise given how flighty these warblers are!

A very rare migrant to our shores from, yes you guessed it!, Sakhalin, and the Japanese archipelago. a hard target to get.

Congratulations on a magnificent #100 and already rushing past that number. Great photos and variety from your region! You've left everyone else far behind, but don't let that stop you or Herman. Looking forward to more.

Well done on the Century and beyond. What a lovely Lifer for you both.

Whilst it is too early to suggest you may be unassailable in numbers I venture that you may be with your IDs.:P

Keep 'em coming.

A quick stop for a lifer, and #100, and off you fly ... only possible in Singapore! Congratulations, keep your supply steady through coming months.

Thanks @PeterHG @Tdgraves @Soukous @Galana @xelas I didn't realise we were ahead as i had thought both Michael and peterHG were far ahead. It's early days and soon someone will overtake us in no time.

We're storing up now because the dry months are beckoning as the migrants return to the north, and we have to rely on the local but more uncommon and more unreliably seen residents for the next six months! Unless we travel... please please world, let us travel soon.....

100 already is very impressive, and some rare finds amongst them. What a cute little woodpecker.

They are starting to talk about a Singapore-Australia travel bubble, if that happens a visit might be on the cards!
