28 minutes ago, Galana said:

I do hope all is well with you @pedro maiaand there is nothing underlying your post.

We are all stuck with this dreadful plague in one form or another so the playing field is the same for us all.

The Tortoise is in Wales, the Hare in Slovenia and I, the other Leopard, am on a rock in the Irish Sea, and have been since last March.

So do cheer up and get out there and photo some birds.

AND I see you have got three birds that I have not got.:D

Everythig´s is fine Fred, I just wanted to do it in a different way, with a different chalenge.

Pedro, any year can be a Big Year irrespective of the final count. And you have already posted some really nice birds, and some birds I will hardly be able to see ... if not visiting Portugal.

We allways have plenty of birds, one day you´ll have to come here and see it for yourself...

I left the Lezíria (probably a mistake) and went to a couple of other places that didn´t produce much:

I ended the day close to home, in Jamor park, my idea was also to go to Cabo Raso, close to Cascais, for sea birds, but I was wasted, so at 16:30 I called it a day.

Hooray Pedro is back in the game. Welcome back my friend, you have been missed. Great "first day" with lots of mouthwatering species for us folks up north here. Lovely Linnet especially.
