Michael‘s Seventh Year

Recommended Posts

I would risk the quarantine for a chance to return to the Pearl of Africa ( after my two year enforced absence).

Good luck with everything and travel safe. We look forward to seeing the results soon. Shoebill, Black BeeEaters, Trogons and Touracos to name but a few. No pressure!!

Best of luck with the arrival test! It sounds like a great plan.

Thanks everybody! So far so good - in Istanbul right now. The "exciting" part will be tomorrow morning in Entebbe.

Good to learn you were allowed in and had success at Mabamba too.

One mega tick already.

I'm wondering if you have passed the 200 mark by now! I look forward to seeing the results but if there are too many like the Shoebill I'll turn green!

If he has not then he has either broken his camera or should get his money back.;)

If you do turn green, make sure it does not clash with the daffodils on March 1st.

Camera is ok, and no need to get my money back. B)At the airport right now waiting for our flight back home. Fortunately also the mandatory PCR before departure was negative. 🙂

11/E11) Eurasian Green Woodpecker (Picus viridis) / Grünspecht

Baldramsdorf/Carinthia, 5/3/22. I was quite motivated to finally properly get going with my local BY. But Corona caught up with me and put me out of action - I´m quarantined for 10 days at least.

Well, better now than before or during our Uganda holiday. :)

Mühldorf/Carinthia, 4/3/22. One of my bogey birds, they really don´t like people.

I do hope you’re not suffering too badly from Covid. But, like you said: better now than on your Uganda trip. Always good to nail a Green Woodpecker! Get well soon.

I´m ok, thanks Peter. Felt healthy when my test result came in but that changed. Pretty sick yesterday but already better today.

We wish you a quick recovery

What, corona is still active in Austria?! Oh my, I hope that this will not impact our plans for Seewinkel. Recover quickly and fully. And Andreas?

Thanks guys!

@xelas

I guess you could say it´s still active. We almost clinched 50,000 cases today - that is 50,000 cases in one day. An all-time record.

Don´t worry about Seewinkel - I´ll be back in full clicking mode in no time.  :)
