As @Soukoussaid.  Nothing wrong with some duplicates.

You have been busy since I last looked. Beautiful additions, the Hornbills are particularly cool. And congrats on the Coucal lifers. And another vote for duplicates.:)

see my 2019 TR. you won’t have the migrants, but the spring light is so much nicer.

Could you provide a link? Somehow I am unable to locate it. Thanks!

Beautifil shots again, also in the dupilcates! Read through your 2019 trip report and greatly enjoyed it ! We'll be doing about the same restcamps as you did back then. We were a little hesitant abou Punda Maria, but your sightings there were quite good and it seems you also quite liked the safaritent. We read mixed reviews about those. Thanks again!

Thanks @TonyQand @PeterHG

WRT punda Maria, i think the thing is to adjust your expectations. It is probably better to do the Kruger north to south, so that the game density increases, rather than decreases as your trip progresses. Email the camp and ask for one of the perimeter tents, for better views and a feeling of seclusion.

Catching up with your SA birds.  Some really lovely pictures there but very taken with the Southern Ground Hornbill close up portraits, so much detail!

Thanks @Galana and @Zim Girl

there will be a short hiatus, as I had an operation yesterday and am in hospital. All that recuperation time will surely mean that I can finish my South African collection!?!! but also means that I will not be (and have not been) adding to the UK collection at present.
