It is hardcore birding from dawn till dusk! No proper food, only 6 hrs to sleep.

But there are some pretty Bulbuls over there! Congratulations on #200, looking forward to your India additions. I really like Kingfisher Beer but I don't think we can allow that. 😉

Our India birding trip has ended! Very positively surprised. Not about every aspect of this country yet its good sides makes us wanting to go back! Soon.

Below is the last bird photographed 😁. Sadly while in Tadoba none has been sighted ☹️. This one is from Goa.

India has something of the magical about it and I will return one day hopefully but not while they make it so difficult for us to get a VISA! looking forward to seeing your results.

Welcome back @xelas

I see that your latest bird is a different subspecies to the one you posted a bit earlier

Well spotted Tony. I think they are the same species, the first two were taken having just fledged the nest. The latter is a fully grown adult in full breeding plumage!

I don't care which sub species as long as they migrate into the Jug with the 'andle without too much fuss.

Don't drink and dive.

A week of silence from all on this Shikari. Hope all is well and there are good reasons why we are not seeing anything other than empty Beer bottles and not a whisker of the Tiger(s) and pretty Bulbuls.

Let alone a hint of the expected Trip Report(s).;)

The silent on this side is the silent before the storm! We came home with 10000+ photos. I am in process of sorting them, and filling the related birds folders. The first birds for the BY will appear soon. The trip report later. It will be a short one.

Both awaited. With 10,000 it looks like you saw more than bulbuls.

Isn't Indian food considered 'proper food'? You seemed to eat a lot of it.

Yes indeed, the visa process is currently a nightmare; expensive and time consuming. And all down to Modi's ego

I can assure you that the Alex & Zvezda tag team worked overtime in India. It was hard trying to keep up with them. Just when I thought I might have caught something they missed I'm reminded there are 2 of them in the hunt, and Alex never stops. Obviously all his training trips with  @michael-ibkhave paid off.

The 'official line' is that it was a Computer programme glitch was an obvious untruth from day one in late 2018 early 2019.
