It is notable how many of these were seen from my Balcony in Tandala Tented Camp.

Highly recommended and only 5km from the Park Gate.

115.. European Cuckoo. Ruaha NP. I am going for Euro here mainly because this species has the hepatic/rufous morph and its Afro cousin does not. And the Euro's bill is less yellow.

Yes, even allowing for the stork to be resting on folded legs the goliath is truly named.

I feel your pain. Whilst posting this and the TR with late snow on the hills outside my mind keeps drifting off to a nice tent with a view. Comfy chair and a cool glass in my left hand. I don't know why that should be. Antidote booked for August. Just Emmy, another companion and I.
