I agree with @michael-ibkthat it is a robin-chat, but probably a red-capped (Roberts suggests that Cape does not occur)

your “Amur falcon” is a Dickinson’s kestrel

I'll take that robin-chat and thanks for the correction - I'm pretty sure our guide said Amur but then I didn't write anything down so who knows

And then we flew to Kenya.  Had a day in Nairobi (no bird shots) before heading to Porini Amboseli camp in the Selenkay Conservancy

A couple of big crops from our introductory walking tour, but the only time we saw these two

Er coming in late here (Bit like doing homework from years back)

A couple of suggestions if I may.

The mystery Robin Chat may well be Red-capped but I will throw in White-browed RC. the intense red breast colours tend to push me that way.

On a more positive note your Village Indigo bird is not an Indigo bird at all. The Long tail blows that idea out the window. She lost her old man and is a Widow. Probably, most likely a White-winged.

Peter Connan

Making great progress here. Some really lovely shots, particularly the mystery Robin-Chat.

Congrats on the 50.
