Yesterday I went back to check those nests and I was said to see that the Imperial eagle´s was enpty, even if we don´t know if there was ever a chick there, and worst than that, the Goldeneagle´s was also empty, which means that the chick didn´t survvie, imposible to know what happened.

Best sighting of the day was a pair of Short-toed snake eagles, not to far which allowed me to zoom in, focus and, with the sub in my back and not too high, I took my best BIF pictures ever:

Using only one focus point and eye detecting settings I understand the male in the backgroun wouldn´t be on focus but I´ll have to try another setting, with only a zone focus, to get multiple birds in the same picture:

On our way back, as we entered the motorway ramp, there was a Bonelli eagle feeding on a roadkill, fortunatelly it was on the ramp and I was driving slowlly and that allowed the bird to escape, I wouldn´t want to run over any bird, let alone one big eagle.

Thanks @TonyQ, @Galana, @xelas and @Zim Girl.

Another try with the swifts, they are definitely a challenge:

Black-winged stilts are much easier for BIF pictures, I would have liked some more detail in the wings but the sun was high, I thinks that´s why some detail was lost:

I keep practicing with the R7 and I´m progressing, slowly but steadily, my "decent" photos rate is still very low but from time to time I take a few pictures that I´m satisfied with, but there are at least 3 issues that I need to improve, my reaction is slower than with the previous camera, I think that with practice things will become more intuitive, but I also think that issue is related to the viewfinder, BIF pictures with busy backgrounds are difficult and if flying birds are a bit more distant I just can´t focus, I probably shake the camera.

Anyway, I was thinking that for next year a BIF Big Year might be a good idea, even if it narrows down the possibilities because some birds I´m not going to see them flying and many others (many passerines) I won´t be able to photograh, but we still have 6 months in 2023 so I decide to make a trial and make a BIF count until the end of the year, even with no goals that will motivate me to practice more and more, so I´m going to start that count with the BIF pictures I have from Namibia and with other birds I already posted in this thread (I know, my thread is a bit confusing, and I´ll keep updating my life lists, but I think nobody will care about that:P).
