Winter is not (anymore) the most favourite season for me, and while balcony birding (behind the closed window) is a way to start the Big Year, my mind was set to visit a warmer place. Cyprus was the target destination until Michael called with a much better (and warmer) idea: Oman! We quickly agreed to joining him and Andreas on a short (10 days) but intensive birding trip to the country I knew nothing about. No worries there as Michael has meticulously prepared the whole itinerary, and my only job was to drive the group from one birding location to another. Here are the birds from that trip!
