A morning to remember: Witnessing the circle of life in Ranthambore Tiger Reserve

In May, I was in Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve with one of my American friends for a week. During our first morning game drive we had an unforgettable encounter. We spotted the majestic Tigress Riddhi with her cubs - a sight that left us in awe.

Suddenly, Riddhi grew alert, her focus razor-sharp. Without warning, she charged toward our vehicle and brought down a spotted deer just a few feet away. It was intense, raw, and powerful. After ensuring the kill was secure, she stayed by it until the deer was lifeless. Then, she dragged it into the tall grass, skillfully hiding it. Her next move was to fetch her cubs. Soon, the little ones arrived. While one eagerly began eating, the other two stayed close to their mother, playfully enjoying her presence.

I captured this entire sequence - a testament to the wild's beauty, power, and tenderness. Here I'm sharing with you all. Thanks.

@AKR1This is from Zone 2 of Tigress Arrowhead, who had not been keeping well for a couple of months. It was overwhelming to see her back in action.
