Apart from ladmiring your images @@Rainbirder I also love your sense of humour.

BTW do you give lessons - in photography - not humour. ;) If I could take shots one tenth as good as you, and many others on this thread, I would be a happy woman

Many thanks! @@wilddog

I'm no professional sadly!

My better images are thanks to a great guide and a bit of luck.

Ditto on the humor, Rainbirder. Mr Croc of the snow white teeth has been my favorite so far!

There we go: I knew my Safaritalkers had images tucked away on their hard drives... :) Keep them coming.

I'm on the committee for a local school's charity, and I've been completely swamped over the last few weeks with planning for our Summer Fair - which was a huge success the weekend just gone. So I'm back again to feed this topic!

There are so many amazing photos here! You all are awesome!

This is from Kenya in June, in the OOC. It's 5 images stitched together because of not having a wide angle lens in the vehicle. :)

We found it about 3/4 of a mile inland, close to the "vine camp" access road. My wife was the first to spot it. As we approached he came flying out of some leaves making us all jump to high heaven. He sprinted about 25 yards under a bush which is where I took the picture.

Western Serengeti, Tanzania: Thousands of Gnus with a few Zebras near the Grumeti river with monster crocs waiting.

This guy was truly gigantic. He shredded a poor wildie shortly after this.

Here is a close-up of the jaws that ripped the wildebeest. Our guide estimated it was 17 feet long and weighted 1,500 lbs.

Somethings in there

This one came out of the water but he was a small guy in comparison, while the huge monster waited just under the surface

Lets get the hell out of here

The Grumeti area is a completely different experience from the Mara during the migration. We were the only vehicle here.

Well, its not a great picture because he wouldn't turn and face us. But, I thought this Pangolin was worth getting a snap shot.
