Not Africa, but now that the sun is finally out, I was out in the garden trying to get some bird shots for "my big year", when my cat caught a baby mouse....

@@africapurohit I've never been able to get this close to a klipspringer with a 100-400. Very impressed.

@@JohnR we were very lucky - this little guy was extremely relaxed and we spent about 25 minutes with him (and his less-relaxed female companion). Getting this close wasn't the norm and I even took photos with the 70-200mm! Despite being quite late and darkening (see the grey skies in the background), the setting sun provided some nice warm light.
