While the other cars were keeping an eye on the dogs; we stayed with the wildebeest until sundown. No regrets!!!

Great stuff @@madaboutcheetah - especially the caracal and dogs! I love the plains game photos, I feel many do not give them much attention. And the damn hamerkop spoiling the hyena reflection shot!

Thanks @@africapurohit - was able to find one without hammerkop ......... as above. It's taking a while to get through the raw files.

Busy work week will mean slow to come with remaining images - Lion, Leopard, Roan, Sable, birds.........

I'm thinking Steppe Buzzard ....... (Can anyone confirm? ......) It doesn't look like a Tawny to me :)

From what i remember Tawny's have feathered legs to their feet so it's definitely not a Tawny.

I don't think immature Bateleur ...... They are not brownish like this one. Hmmmmmmmm ........ meanwhile, I have asked Spencer to i.d the bird - will revert with what he has to say.

Yeah, Juvenile Bateleur did cross my mind. They take seven years to become an adult and their plumage has a few changes along the way.
