Not intentional ....... the cheetahs were asleep, and this dove perched on the stump next to the Truck!

Hari you have excelled yourself. Love the Spencer pic, you capture his personality! Those Lagoon puppies, to think I saw the pack making their den choice back in June so great to see them so healthy and beautiful. Pen

Those Zebras from Zebra pan finally arrive; actually leaving the pan (And) Wattled cranes having a scrap with a Blacksmith plover (Kubu Pan).

Oh my goodness! Gone for a couple of weeks and what a treat to come back to this... Don't think I've ever hit so many 'likes' on any one single thread so far :)

Many memorable photos, Hari, but what I find even better is that this so full of personal stories and memories for you. Like Jan's friends, the meerkats, it's nice to 'meet' the 'cheetah boys' and the 'Lagoon pack' through your eyes.

Keep interspersing those little stories too when you get a chance - really adds texture and interest.

Looking forward to tomorrow's batch now!

Giraffe and Zebra (not far from Zebra pan; Lagoon) - they are all bunched up like this because there were a few very shy Lionesses around there. We tried to have a look, but, they did not allow us......... (best guess is, they are either from the woodlands or from Namibia and either way not used to game drive vehicles)

August 2012, these two images are from an area called "Muddy Waters" in the Lagoon area. Good general game, but, by golly some of those really fiesty Linyanti Elephants (will have more images when I get a chance to edit them) ..........

The famous sundowner spot at Twin Pools (this strangler fig tree had probably seen more drink stops when the area was dry - all of that water was nice flood plains with lovely termite mounds that cheetahs absolutely loved)
