@@pedro maia, that sure wins the prize for the most ugly bum ever. It should carry a warning notice.

Three Small Elephants in Samburu

~ Photographed on 28 January, 2015 at 10:37 am in Samburu National Reserve, Kenya, with an EOS 1D X camera and an EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II super-telephoto lens.

ISO 400, f/5.6, 1/1600 sec., 400mm focal length, handheld Manual exposure.

*******************************************************************************************************

Looking over Photography threads in which I've never posted any image, it seemed that this image of the backsides of three small elephants might be uploaded.

They'd been playing together, with the smallest elephant — a mere baby — laying flat in the dust. When it got up, the three moved in unison, when this image was made.

In 2014 and 2015 Samburu has been an excellent location for observation of baby and juvenile elephants. They're a lively subject for the camera lens, active and playful.

Not often you get a bum and a face as the same subject! (Sorry...accidently posted this in the show us your photos thread.)
Taken in the OMC last November, we watched this mom struggle for 30-40 minutes before she was able to give birth. It seemed that something was a little "stuck." We stayed well back so as not to righten her, so this was taken at 560mm I think, and cropped down. But it was an extraoprdinary moment to catch!

Glory be!

A more explicit bum couldn't be imagined.

Well-suited as a decorative print in a proctologist's waiting room.
