Same from me. BeeEaters are one of my favourites and do you get extra points for making 400 with that Black species. I have yet to see Rosy despite two trips to where she lives.

Good to see your EBC skills being honed too.

Congrats on the 400, I had already seen the black bee eater when you posted it on the TR but I was again amazed with it here, a real stunner.

thanks all for the support @Tdgraves  @xelas @michael-ibk @Soukous @Galana

@Peter Connan @pedro maia

@Tdgraves seeing how you and Tony had surpassed the 400th gave me the spurt of energy to continue the count! I can see Tony pushing that lead already, and he may just catch up with Michael very soon!

Michael - that's very kind and generous of you, just when the bird matters, the camera and amateur photographer came together for once!

I was too slow to shoot the finfoot on the Kafue River, and I was still too slow to get good shoots of this elusive bird even though it was seen a number of times. It's like my nemesis of birds on the river!

a very EBC photo that is worthy of being a finalist surely? and thanks to Michael who had seen it very clearly and ID before I came along and shot it before it flew off for better pastures.
