This scene played out for us on the Sabie River bridge in Kruger, as we were on a drive from Lower Sabie and got to the bridge.

 

The Giant Kingfishers on the bridge are quite used to cars and this one was sitting about 4-5 metres from us. He had caught his meal and was busy rendering it palatable
