Has anyone ever attempted it?

 

 

I caught the film with Jack Black and Steve Martin the other night and can well believe the length and expense that some of the real enthusiasts go to in order to break the record.

 

Perhaps we could start the Safaritalk Big Year and see who can photograph the most bird species, whether it be in Africa or elsewhere.

 

What do you think?

I watched it a couple of nights ago as well. Loved it but felt sad that they couldn't enjoy the birds.

 

I'm too lazy to try.

For me it isnt about the number of sightings, its about the quality of time just watching them do their thing. I have literally spent entire days following cheetah (single or coalitions) as they move around their territory and hunt. Thats why I love a private vehicle.
