Both eagles arrived at the nest late afternoon and did a little nest fluffing. The female checked out the nest bowl for quiet awhile. The male left only to return with one of his biggest sticks yet! No worries, they did find a place for it. He left again and very, very shortly after the female went into labor. She laid the egg between 5:45 and 5:55 pm nest time and promptly went about rolling it and getting it tucked under her before the bad weather came in.
