Challenge accepted.

African ground horn bill - Psst it is one of the rarest bird to see in the Kruger National Park.

The Kruger Park is busy compiling a survey on how many is actually left in the Kruger.

They are all great @@Tdgraves !

I would say it's between 1 and 3, but probably 3.

Also, I would get rid of the white object (another bird?).

thanks @@Peter Connan there are another 3 which I didn't post! I assumed that the white object was a feather, as I cannot see any flowers on the tree. But as you say, it'd be easy to crop it out, of 1 at least

They're all beautiful beyond expectation.

That final bee-eater is a stunner — terrific focus!

Many thanks for posting such a fine assortment of birds.

Truly lovely, making me wish that I was back in Africa on a game drive.

I'm unfamiliar with the fifth bird, between a roller and an owl, but must say that it's a lovely species.

Thank you!

@ Tom Kellie

Thank you Tom

The fifth bird is a Yellow-bellied Eremomela (Eremomela icteropygialis). They are usually not seen in the open like in the photo.

All birds where photographed in the Kruger National Park.

I'm indebted to you for letting me know.

While I certainly won't expect to see one, I'll keep them in mind when I'm in Sabi Sands a few weeks from now.

I had no idea that the Kruger National Park area had such a bird as the Yellow-bellied Eremomela.

The photo was taken more to the southern part of Kruger they are normally in thick brush and don't sit still for very long, I was lucky to get the shot :)

They move to the eastern part of South Africa from January to August so you might get one in the Sabi Sands area.
