Well, I'm back from the week in Kruger. Too short, of course, but it was great! We saw some 130 bird species, of which quite a number were new for this year. Don't worry, though, I did not manage to get a shot from  each of them so I'm still no threat to the big guns out here ;). It was definitely worth the effort of flying there and back for a week. I'll try and put a little report together in the next days, to put on the self-drive forum. I'm still going through a huge number of photos, but to make a start:

We saw this beautiful owl already in the Kgalagadi in January, so not counting

Verreaux's Eagle Owl

Congratulations, Peter. All great new shots but I love the Helmetshrike most.
