Must admit I'd love a 5D4 but I can't justify spending the money on it. I sold the 7D2 because like you i was never 100% convinced about the inbuilt 1.6 crop factor vs a computer cropped shot from my other two bodies. There was an advantage but nowhere near 60%. That said value for money it is unbeatable, the ISO range isn't too bad and if my 5D3 had been in better condition I might have sold that instead but it seemed silly having 3 bodies, you only need one back up.

That said the 7D2 was possibly the best buy I have ever made as I took 12,000 pics and sold it for £25 less than I paid for it ( it came to me used too)!
