An unusual Tiger behavior encountered in Corbett, February 2018.

Having seen Tigers for over 29 years i thought i had known enough about them. But on my trip last month to Jim Corbett National Park what i encountered was something unprecedented and unheard of. 

 

Was she trying to kill a male cub? If yes, why? What were the reasons behind. It took me good 3 safaris to come up with possible probabilities and my own conclusion. Maybe i am totally wrong, but what if i was not?

Fascinating. The third option is surely possible, it's not unheard of in leopards that females take up cubs from other mothers or swap cubs. Maybe this can be checked with pictures?
